About Us

At Certus AI, our goal is simple: replace the restaurant phone line with Voice AI. With that, Certus is fundamentally changing how restaurants operate.We've just raised our pre-seed round from Y Combinator — the most prestigious pre-seed/seed firm in the world. It's a massive validation for what we're doing.

We're seeing triple-digit MoM growth, and we're a super high-output, fast-paced team. In the last 6 months, we've implemented for dozens of restaurants, built integrations allowing us to work with hundreds of industry-specific software platforms like Toast, Clover, Square, etc., and we've dialled in our GTM to get customers on demand.

Our goal is to become the highest performing Sales Org in the US, and we’re looking for those with the ambition, will-power and skill to get there.

Role

  • Follow up with, qualify and engage warm inbound leads, maintaining a steady flow of prospects to drive revenue growth and expand market reach

  • Proactively engage with warm leads and maintain clear and concise communication throughout the lead nurturing process, while partnering with your Account Executive

  • Manage all leads with correct tagging, placement and filing for all softwares where lead management is required in the role (CRM + Dialer)

  • Talk to potential customers and collect their feedback to help improve our marketing and sales methods, making sure our product meets what the market needs

  • Work closely with your team to improve the inbound SDR strategy, sharing ideas that can help shape our overall sales approach

  • Continuously learn by collaborating with the sales team, sales leaders, and cross-functional team members

  • Go above and beyond delivering your quota to help your teammates and the company succeed

Qualifications and If you should apply

Experience + Characteristics
  • 1+ years of experience in software sales as a BDR/SDR, preferably high-volume SMB SaaS sales (big bonus if this was in the hospitality industry)

  • Dedication to building long-term relationships with customers, prioritizing their success over short-term gains

  • Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding personal and professional goals, with a strong commitment to excellence in all endeavors

  • Proven ability to set high standards for oneself and consistently meet or surpass expectations in both work-related tasks and personal development initiatives

  • Confident communicator with strong persuasion skills and a determined, persistent approach

  • Customer-obsessed sales approach, demonstrating a deep commitment to understanding and addressing the unique needs of each restaurant owner

  • Curious, life-long learner mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, staying updated on industry trends and best practices and shows enthusiasm for applying newly acquired knowledge to improve job performance

  • You excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where adaptability is key, demonstrating grit, competitiveness, and resilience in the face of challenges

Requirements
  • English first language or entirely fluent (Ideally American or Canadian)

  • Based In the USA, Canada or UK

  • Able to work any of EST, CST, MST or PST

OTE and Pay Structure

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE) at Quota:

    • Monthly OTE: USD $5,720 (base + commission at quota)

    • Annual OTE: USD $68,640

  • Stretch On Target Earnings:

    • Monthly: USD $6,520 

    • Annualized: USD $78,240+

    • Commissions are uncapped
