About Us
At Certus AI, our goal is simple: replace the restaurant phone line with Voice AI. With that, Certus is fundamentally changing how restaurants operate.We've just raised our pre-seed round from Y Combinator — the most prestigious pre-seed/seed firm in the world. It's a massive validation for what we're doing.
We're seeing triple-digit MoM growth, and we're a super high-output, fast-paced team. In the last 6 months, we've implemented for dozens of restaurants, built integrations allowing us to work with hundreds of industry-specific software platforms like Toast, Clover, Square, etc., and we've dialled in our GTM to get customers on demand.
Our goal is to become the highest performing Sales Org in the US, and we’re looking for those with the ambition, will-power and skill to get there.
Role
Become an expert in our product and the industry so that you can advise restaurant owners in a high-trust manner.
Collaborate with restaurant owners to align their goals and objectives with our product capabilities.
Sell on value and return on investment (ROI) vs. technical functionality
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline alongside the XDR team.
Collaborate closely with our onboarding team to deliver a seamless launch of product to our clients.
Educate yourself daily by reading, listening to podcasts, and learning from your teammates and peers.
Go above and beyond delivering and exceeding your quota to help your teammates and the company succeed.
Qualifications and If you should apply
Experience + Characteristics
1+ years of experience in software sales as an AE, preferably high-volume SMB SaaS sales - with closing experience (big bonus if this was in the hospitality industry)
Consultative, customer-first sales approach
History of personal and professional excellence
Lifelong learner mindset and commitment to professional growth and development
You thrive while working in a fast-paced environment where change is common.
You have strong sales acumen, effective time management and organization skills.
Requirements
English first language or entirely fluent (Ideally American or Canadian)
Based In-between CET and PST timezones
Can go all in and work Full Time
Don’t run your own company

OTE and Pay Structure
On-Target Earnings (OTE) at Quota:
Monthly OTE: USD $9,750 (base + commission at quota)
Annual OTE: USD $117,000
Stretch On Target Earnings:
Monthly: USD $12,500 (base + commission at stretch [40 locations])
Annualized: USD $150,000
Commissions are uncapped
Other perks include a paid gym membership, and an equity package
